Appointments
For routine appointments and general enquiries, please contact the Practice between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Between 5:00pm and 6:00pm, our phone lines are reserved for urgent medical matters only. We offer telephone, video and face to appointments, our GP and Nurse Practitioner appointments are 15mins long. Please be aware that all calls to and from the Practice are recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
To ensure you receive the most appropriate care, you may be offered an appointment with a GP, Advanced Practitioner, Nurse Practitioner, Practice Nurse, or another suitably qualified healthcare professional, depending on your needs. We operate a flexible appointment system, so if an appointment with your preferred clinician is not available, we will offer you the earliest suitable appointment with another member of the clinical team.
Our Reception staff play an important role in helping us provide safe and effective care. They have been asked by our clinical team to gather brief information about the reason for your appointment. This helps us ensure you are directed to the right healthcare professional, allows urgent cases to be prioritised appropriately, and supports clinicians in managing home visits and telephone calls effectively.
We appreciate that discussing your health concerns with a Receptionist may feel uncomfortable for some patients. Please be assured that all Reception staff, like every member of our team, are bound by strict confidentiality requirements. Any information you provide is treated with the utmost discretion. If you would prefer to speak privately, we can arrange for you to speak with a Receptionist away from the main reception area.
While sharing information about the reason for your appointment is voluntary, providing this information helps us direct you to the most appropriate service and may avoid delays in your care. The Practice takes confidentiality very seriously. Any breach of patient confidentiality by a member of staff, regardless of their role, would be investigated and dealt with appropriately.
